About the artist

Patrice Murciano is a French contemporary artist who is celebrated for his “New Pop” style, which blends traditional painting with digital innovation. Early on, he was influenced by Rembrandt and Van Gogh, and he explored light, shadow, and form.

In his teens, he turned to photography, focusing on the female form, which became central to his work. Inspired by Picasso and Basquiat, he later developed “Courbism,” a style that distorts features to express raw emotion.

His colorful, energetic art explores femininity, animals, and pop culture, earning him international acclaim.
